PSALM 119-105
Welcome to The Christian Shelf, a sacred space inspired by the eternal truths of Scripture.
Here, we embrace the life-transforming power of God’s Word. Proverbs 18:21 speaks directly to the heart of our mission: "Death and life are in the power of the tongue." This truth reminds us that every word we speak carries weight—words can heal or harm, build or break. We are called to speak life daily, just as Jesus did.
Psalm 119:105 declares, “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” In a world full of confusion and spiritual darkness, God's Word becomes our compass. It shows us the way forward, gently guiding our steps even when we cannot see the full path ahead. This verse assures us that the Bible is not just an ancient book, but a living guide for every believer.
And finally, John 1:1 brings us back to the source of everything we believe: “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” The Word—Christ Himself—was not only present at creation, but is creation’s life and breath. At The Christian Shelf, we honour that Word, study it, speak it, and live by it.
May every visit to this blog stir your spirit, strengthen your faith, and remind you that God's Word is not just for reading—it's for living.
